Flower Chocolates – Choc Fleur

Because edible flowers have an amazing flavour and taste, they are not just used as mere decoration in gastronomy. Pol Depla is the first chocolatier who managed to use fresh flowers in handcrafted high quality chocolates. An absolute tour de force. In 2002 Pol Depla took a patent on the proces he had developed and the Choc Fleur has since been an exclusivity of Chocolatier Depla. Only selected and organically grown flowers from local florists are used in this delicacy. At exactly the right time, the most colourful violets which are in pristine condition are handpicked with extreme care and immediately processed. Because of these high requirements, the production of the Choc Fleur is dependable on the availability and the quality of the violets.
The Choc Fleur is a unique and handcrafted white chocolate featuring a freshly picked violet and filled with lightly whipped cream and violet sugar. The Choc Fleur will no doubt enchant you with its delicate perfume of fresh violets.
